Day 1 | 70 miles and 5000 ft of elevation

Nice and hilly day. Started out this am in the dark. Everyone is up and moving around at 6:00.

After what they called breakfast. It was off to s cold start in the low 50's.

Had s great day of riding and met may nice people from all over.

Here are some pictures of my tent from last night.

Notice the sheet on my air mattress? Nice. Only the best. Although it was raining last night so some of my stuff was damp today. Good thing I packed in a water proof bag and then plastic bags inside of that. I was able to air dry the sheet and sleeping bag when I got to camp this afternoon.  So we are all good for tonight.

Here is picture of our first town that we rode through

And a church. Read the sign.

Here is an old church.

Nice ironworks into Greenville. Misspelled on purpose.

A small general store.

Crockett Tavern. I think part of Davy Crockett. We stayed at Davy Crocketts birthplace state park last night.

And here is the shower truck.

And it's starting to really cool off. It is going down into the low 40's tonight.
